Sight & Sound is a ministry on a mission to bring the Bible to life through live theater in Lancaster County, PA. This inspiring family experience includes a majestic 2000-seat theatre, a massive 300-foot wrap-around stage, a professional cast, spectacular sets up to 40 feet high and a variety of live animals. Strasburg Train Shop
The Strasburg Rail Road (reporting mark SRC) is a heritage railroad and the oldest continuously operating standard-gauge railroad in the western hemisphere, as well as the oldest public utility in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Chartered in 1832, the Strasburg Rail Road Company is today a heritage railroad offering excursion trains hauled by steam locomotives on 4.02 mi (6.47 km) of track in Pennsylvania Dutch Country. Rides are between $17-25 a person!
Money Rocks County Park
Money Rocks is a rocky spine of boulders, so-named because farmers in the Pequea Valley allegedly hid cash among the rocks out of fear that invading Confederate soldiers might grab it. This park offers 3 different trails and also has several trails that connect to Welsh Mountain Nature Preserve.
American Helicopter Museum & Education Center
The American Helicopter Museum & Education Center focuses on the history, science and technology of rotary wing aviation. The collection contains over 40 civilian and military, autogyros, convertiplanes and helicopters, including some early generation models. The exhibits span the history of rotary wing aircraft from the earliest rotorcraft to the latest developments in tiltrotors, and AHMEC is one of only two museums in the world currently displaying a V-22 Osprey.
