Question

How did you two meet?

Answer

We met online shopping for a date, a.k.a. the Hinge dating app, on April 19, 2022. Ben initiated conversation with Grace, but Grace asked for Ben's phone number first. We went on a few dates, then we started dating on June 16, 2022. We dated for three years until Ben proposed on June 20, 2025.

Question

How did Ben propose?

Answer

Ben came up with the idea to have a little picnic, and he claimed Grace said she wanted to go on a romantic picnic. However, Grace had other plans; she had to get her hair cut. After relentlessly asking Grace what time she was going to be done with her hair cut, Ben was coming to a breaking point; he had people waiting in the bushes to surprise Grace at the picnic. Once Grace came back home, Ben told her to wear "that dress that she got that she wanted to be proposed to in." Grace said, "nah, it's too hot for that." Finally, Grace and Ben were off to Haig Mill park in Dalton, Georgia where Ben found a little, secret alcove that Grace's sister, Emily, helped decorate. Upon arriving, Ben immediately went down on one knee as Grace started to giggle. Once the question was popped, her family and Ben's family were ready with plenty of pictures and cupcakes!
