Grace and Arnold met while studying at Indiana University. At the eleventh hour, the two were introduced at a going away party for Grace’s good friend, and Arnold’s coworker, Kit. Arnold had taken it upon himself to be the DJ for the party. Grace took it upon herself to tease him for his music selection. A few weeks later Arnold wooed Grace over breakfast at their favorite diner, Wee Willie’s. Before they knew it, Grace and Arnold were packing their things and moving to Chicago.
Arnold was born in Kigali, Rwanda. He moved to Dowagiac, Michigan in elementary school. Eventually he landed in South Bend, Indiana. Today, Arnold is a general manager of a local ice cream and burger shop. A restaurant enthusiast, Arnold loves exploring new places in the city. Outside of work you can find Arnold watching ESPN, frying up some crispy hash browns, or drinking a wheat beer on a rooftop somewhere.
Grace grew up in a suburb of Chicago. Having always been strong willed and bossy, Grace landed a career as an elementary school teacher in her hometown. She’s passionate about baking, killing houseplants, and charcuterie boards. During the summer months you can find her hanging with their dog Mavis, drinking iced coffee and listening to NPR.
