When is the wedding?

The wedding events will take place over November 17th - 19th. Additional event details can be found on the Schedule page.

Where is the wedding taking place?
Answer
Our wedding will be held at Dreams Sapphire Resort & Spa in Cancun, Mexico - all events will be held at this resort at different locations throughout the venue.

What if I can’t attend?
Answer
We completely understand! Traveling to a destination wedding isn’t possible for everyone. Your love and support from afar mean just as much to us.

How do I book my stay?
Answer
We’ve secured a room block at the resort with our travel advisor. You can find booking details and contact information on the Travel page — she’s available to help with the entire process.

What if I’d like a different room than what’s offered in the room block?
Answer
Our resort has something for everyone! If you’d like a different room category (such as an upgrade or villa), please connect with Ranu Bahia (rbahia@tpi.ca) as soon as possible, as availability is limited and not guaranteed.

How do I book my flight?
Answer
Since everyone is traveling from different places and may have their own airline preferences or points programs, we haven’t booked flights on anyone’s behalf. Booking your flight is totally up to you! That said, for any groups who want to travel together, we’ll be sharing suggested flights closer to the date to help coordinate. Feel free to book whatever works best for you — we just can’t wait to see you there!

When do I need to book my stay by?

We will need to have all bookings confirmed by April 1st, 2026.

Do I have to stay at the same resort?
Answer
While you're welcome to stay elsewhere, we highly recommend staying at the resort for convenience and to be part of all the festivities. There is a also a daily fee to enter the resort property for those not staying there.

Is the wedding kid-friendly?
Answer
Yes! Our wedding is kid-friendly, and we’d love for you to make this a fun family vacation. We know how special it is to travel and celebrate together, and we’re excited to create memories with guests of all ages.

Can I bring a plus-one?
Answer
We want everyone to feel comfortable and enjoy this trip to the fullest — whether that means sharing a room, having company for the celebrations, or simply traveling with someone you love. If you’d like to bring a plus one, just reach out to Grace and Andy to let us know. We’ll do our best to accommodate!

Is there transportation from the airport to the resort?
Answer
Yes - depending on arrival dates/times we will help to ensure everyone has a shuttle from the airport to the resort (& it's only 15 mins away)!

What is the weather like in Cancun?
Answer
Expect warm, mostly sunny days and comfortable evenings—ideal conditions for beach time, outdoor ceremonies, and evening celebrations.

Should I bring a gift?
Answer
Your presence at our wedding — especially traveling all the way to Cancun — is truly the greatest gift we could ask for. We genuinely don’t expect anything beyond that. If you’d still like to honour us with a gift, a contribution toward our honeymoon or next chapter would be deeply appreciated. Thank you so much for your love and support!

Are there any traditions or etiquette I should be aware of?
Answer
Just a few simple ones: - Avoid wearing black or white to the ceremony and white at the reception. - Try to dress modestly for our Ceremony, with shoulders and legs covered. - Silence your phone and avoid taking photos during the ceremony — a photographer will capture everything!
