We can’t wait to celebrate our wedding day with y’all at the Butler-Klyza Camp on Damariscotta Lake! The closest major airport to Damariscotta Lake is the Portland Internation Jetport (PWM). For those who would like to take the scenic route, there is a closer regional airport in Rockland serviced by Cape Air puddle jumpers out of Logan International (BOS). The Boston airport is around 3.5 hours away by car. There are a limited number of rooms reserved at two separate inns in the area that are available on a first-come-first-reserve basis. We have blocked off the Mill Pond Inn (www.millpondinn.com), which is 10 minutes away from Camp, also located on Damariscotta Lake. Please book your rooms directly with the Mill Pond Inn if you would like to stay there. We have also reserved rooms at The Hawks House Inn (www.hawkshouseinn.com), which is 20 minutes away from Camp, right off the Damariscotta River. Another option is the Sheepscot Harbor Village Resort (https://www.midcoastshvr.com/) which has an inn, as well as cottages and townhouses. It is located 20 minutes away from Camp on the Sheepscot River with a view of Wiscasset, also known as the prettiest village in Maine. There are also a decent number of AirBnB’s/Vrbo’s in the area. If you know you will be coming and would like to stay in an AirBnB/Vrbo, we recommend booking as soon as possible. The address for Camp (our wedding venue) is 88 Wooded Way, Nobleboro, ME 04555. Damariscotta, Newcastle, Waldoboro, Edgecomb and Wiscasset are the closest towns to Camp. The welcome party will be held in Waldoboro. Camden, Rockland, Rockport, and Boothbay are other options with ample accommodations. These scenic coastal Maine towns are 40 minutes away by car.
