The Vermont Book Shop
Right across the street from St. Stephen’s, this book store is very cute and a great way to spend some time. There’s a great view of the waterfall from the back porch!
The Public Market @ The Stone Mill
We loved this cute store! And it’s walking distance from the church.
Sparrow Art Supply
If you’re always in the middle of a few art projects like Grace, you might need some new supplies! Check out Sparrow right by the church.
Shiretown Marketplace
If you’re looking for a casual bite in Middlebury, we recommend Shiretown!
Church Street
Burlington's Church St has a number of walkable restaurants, bars, shops, and more. Check out the Ben and Jerry's ice cream shop and Outdoor Gear Exchange's consignment section!
Camel's Hump State Park
Camel's hump is one of my (Grace's) favorite nearby hikes. It's a bit of a climb but the peak offers 360 views of the surrounding hills and forests.
Shelburne Farms
Shelburne Farms is a historical estate and functioning farm. There are walking trails, a petting zoo, bakery, cheese making tours, and more. The farm is very kid friendly!
Shelburne Museum
If you're really interested in New England history and art, check out the Shelburne Museum. My (Grace's) favorite part as a kid was the Ticonderoga Steamboat that you can walk through.
