Maid of Honor
Technically a cousin, but more like a sister to Grace from the get go. She's a wonderful friend, and always there when you need her. Nikki is the first one to offer if you need a favor, has a hilariously dry sense of humor (but it shy about it, which makes it even better), and is extremely generous. Love you Nik.
Best Man
Alex and Justin go all the way back to the first grade. Justin has been Alex's best friend since high school, and the two have loved bonding over music, Ultimate Frisbee, and their equally silly sense of humor. Justin is one of the kindest, funniest and supportive people in Alex's life. Alex is lucky to say that being friends with Justin has made him a better person. Love you J-Bert!
Matron of Honor
Jessie (sister of Nikki) is another technical cousin but more of a sister. She's called Grace a "mini cuz" for years- they have many similarities. Both outdoorsy girls, Grace and Jess have bonded over animals and bugs since they were young. She gives great hugs, extremely thoughtful gifts, and is always there to talk and listen. Love you Jess.
Groomsman
Mike, or Dagher as Alex calls him, has been a source of laughter, dry banter and thought-provoking conversations since college. After living together for a year and battling it out in silence and loudness competitions, the two became close friends. Dagher is incredibly driven and his competitive nature comes in handy when it comes to achieving his goals. Love you Dags!
Bridesmaid
Katie is Grace's little sister. She speaks her mind and true to herself. She's extremely compassionate and works everyday to help those less fortunate than herself. She spreads laughter and sunshine wherever she goes. Love you Kate.
Groomsman
As another one of Alex's former roommates, Jesse has been a great support system for Alex over the years. Alex and Grace have become so close to Jesse and his wife Stephanie, and they love their times playing silly board games (like Dragon Keeper) together. Alex and Jesse have bonded over Utimate Frisbee and music, and Alex is so happy to have Jesse as a friend. Love you Raven!
Bridesmaid
Carrie is Grace's soon to be Sister-in-Law. She is one of the most thoughtful people in the world. She is strong, caring, and gives the most personal presents. ;) Carrie throws 100% of herself into everything she does and is so supportive of others. Love you Carrie.
Groomsman
Alex and Christo met in 2007 and quickly became friends. After living together in East Lansing the two took a road trip to the Pacific Northwest together. Alex still remembers this as one of this as one of his favorite trips. Then they moved in together in downtown Lansing where they shared many nights cooking food together, and laughing at silly TV shows. Alex doesn't get to see Christo since he is constantly travelling the world, but he's grateful for the time he does get to spend with him! Love you Fergs!
Bridesmaid
Anna also falls into the cousin-but-more-like-a-sister category. Anna has been a little sister since I can remember. She was at all of my childhood birthday parties, we've had countless sleepovers, and did everything together. She even followed in me and Katie's MSU footsteps (Go Green!). Love you Anna.
Groomsman
As Alex's cousin, Paul was one of Alex's first friends. Spending holidays together as kids allowed them to become close friends as adults. They love joking around together and sharing some drinks (an IPA for Alex and a fuzzy navel for Paul). Alex has been lucky to have such a great person be a part of his life since he can remember. Love you cuz!
Officiant
Jonny and Hitch are Grace's cousins and have been great friends to the couple from the beginning (and to Grace since birth). They couldn't choose just one, so both brothers will be co-officiating. Many things come to mind when thinking about these two- kind, loyal, giving, craft beer (haha), but most of all generous and loving.
