If there is rain in the forecast, we will let you know by 1:00 p.m. that the event has been moved to the secondary location. If you get no text notification, proceed with the original location. In the event of rain, the ceremony will be held at The First Christian Church of Pittsfield. The address for the reception venue will take you to the church building's location. The reception would still be held across the street from church at the Crossroads Center. We will still try to start at the scheduled time, but there may be a small delay, as people and things would need transported.

We would prefer you arrive at least 10-15 minutes before as there is a small walk.

We would prefer that you wear a nice casual outfit, for example, a dress, dress slacks, a nice top, capris, sandals, etc. However, wear whatever makes you feel comfortable. It's your body, not ours.

Please only bring those additional individuals who are included on the invitation. All spouses are automatically invited. If there is someone you would like to bring as a plus one, please text 217-742-7127, as we may make an exception.

We will have a golf cart or a vehicle for those who need it. the walnut grove where the ceremony will be held is a 2-5 minute walk from where parking will be.

Answer
If your children are invited, they will be included on your invitation as with any other guest. The gym next door to the dining room at the reception will be open for the children to play in. There will also be a game table at the reception for older children and all other guests. Gym toys are in the middle closet with the double doors. Help yourselves. We ask that you please respect the venue and do not allow children to climb on the stage or bleachers and that you put toys and games away after you leave. There will not be a specified adult present for play if your child requires supervision, so please feel free to hang out in the gym if needed.
