Flight

JFK International Airport

JFK is the most convenient airport to the area. It's the quickest ride to the Fort Greene neighborhood in Brooklyn via cab. The Long Island Railroad or A subway train will also take you into the heart of Fort Greene. However, Laguardia and Newark International Airports are also equally fine options. We're not going to sugar coat it, getting from the airport is a pain in New York.

Train

G Train

Our wedding venue is located off the Clinton Washington stop on the G train. This train will connect you with neighborhoods like Park Slope, Williamsburg, Cobble Hill, Clinton Hill (our neighborhood of choice), Downtown Brooklyn, and Greenpoint. Get ready to jog however, as the G train is only half the size of the rest of the New York Subway fleet and will stop at the center of the platform!

Hotel

Downtown Brooklyn or Williamsburg

Both of these neighborhoods are great for hotel options. Williamsburg being the trendier neighborhood will offer some of the nicer options for hotels in Brooklyn. Budget hotels like the Pod Hotel are great options. Hotel Indigo is also opening up a new hotel above the G train stop shortly before the wedding. Downtown Brooklyn is easily accessible to the wedding venue by foot or a quick train ride. It also offers the most hotel options in the borough. Options like Aloft, Hotel Indigo, Marriot, the Tillary, Hampton Inn, and Hilton are good options for the neighborhood. Here's a list of hotels we recommend: https://goo.gl/maps/g2R6PWrsxTzuqa1ZA

House Or Rental

AirBNBs

If you choose to AirBNB, please try to stay along the G line or off of a train that connects at the Atlantic Barclays Center. Lucky for all of our guests, the neighborhood the venue is in, Fort Greene and Clinton Hill, are very reasonably priced neighborhoods for AirBNBs. Other neighborhoods worth staying in are: Prospect Heights, Park Slope, Boerum Hill, Cobble Hill, Brooklyn Heights, DUMBO, Williamsburg, and Greenpoint. We advise against staying in neighborhoods like Bedford-Stuyvesant(AKA Bed-Stuy), Crown Heights, and Bushwick. While those neighborhoods are the heart and art centers of Brooklyn, they're also transit deserts and far from the wedding venue. If a deal seems too good to be true, it often is in New York.
