Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is limited street parking on Chestnut Ave (Highway 210) in front of the venue. Otherwise, please utilize the parking lot at Bethesda Lutheran Church (204 5th St N, Carlton, MN 55718), one block from the venue. Parking at the venue is reserved for elderly individuals or those with disabilities.

What time should guests arrive?

Answer

Please plan on arriving by 3:30PM. This will allow time to get situated & seated. The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00PM.

When and where will the wedding take place?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will both be hosted at the Oldenburg House: 604 Chestnut Avenue, Carlton, MN 55718. The ceremony will begin at 4:00PM. Please see the Schedule page for more details.

Will there be food?

Answer

Duh! We will have a charcuterie spread during cocktail hour, Chinese food for dinner, and a late night snack of tacos, not to mention dessert. You'll absolutely be well fed.

Is it too late to RSVP?

Answer

Unfortunately, yes, RSVPs are now closed. Please reach out to Gunnar or Grace if you have additional questions.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! Please see the 'Dress Code' page for more details on what to wear. Please note that we’ll have two photographers capturing the day, so if you care how you show up in photos, feel free to factor that in when choosing your outfit. Feel free to reach out to Grace or Gunnar if you have any questions about the dress code.

Are kids welcome?

Please check if your children were included on your invitation. If so, they are welcome at the wedding. There will also be a childcare coordinator present.

Please check if your invitation included a plus one. If so, you can absolutely bring a date.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Absolutely! While we do not have a hotel block reserved, we have several recommendations for different types of accommodations in the area. Please check out the Travel tab.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will both take place completely outdoors.
