What time should guests arrive?

Please arrive no later than 3:30 p.m.

Is the wedding outside?
Answer
The ceremony is in a covered chapel with open airflow. After the ceremony guests will walk right next door to the A/C controlled barn for reception!

Are children allowed?
Answer
We kindly request that our wedding be an adult-only occasion. The only exceptions will be children who are part of the wedding party or those who have been specifically named on your invitation. If your invitation includes a plus-one, we ask that they be an adult guest. If your family has been invited, please bring only those listed on your invitation. We unfortunately can't accommodate additional boyfriends, girlfriends, or extended guests due to limited seating and catering. Thank you for understanding!

When will I receive my Formal Invitation?
Answer
Wedding invitations will be mailed out May 2026 and you must RSVP by July 8, 2026. Once invitations have been mailed out, the RSVP button will be unhidden on the top of the page where you can type in your name and accept your invitation. Or, feel free to call one of the two numbers listed at the bottom of the page.

Will there be a bridal shower?

Yes! We're excited to announce that a Bridal Shower for Grace has been booked! Please save the date for Saturday, June 13th 2026 at " The Pinnacle Hall " in Petersburg WV. Formal invitations with additional information will follow. You can see the registry by simply clicking the registry tab at the top of the page. Dawson and Grace are registered through Amazon and Target!

There is one bathroom at the chapel and two bathrooms inside the reception barn.

Where do we park?
Answer
As you pull up to the venue someone will be directing you on where to park. There is a main parking lot right next to the chapel.

This is a smoke / vape free venue. If you must do so please go to the parking lot.

Is there a formal seating chart for the reception?
Answer
Yes! On the formal invitations you will see a specific date you must RSVP by so we can save you a seat at dinner!

What will you be serving?
Answer
After the ceremony while we take family photos all guests will go to the barn for cocktail hour and finger foods. Our main course meal includes roast beef, chicken tenders, mac & cheese, mashed potatoes, salad, rolls, and green beans. Water, sweet tea, coffee, and various sodas will be available.

What if I have a dietary restriction / allergy?
Answer
Due to a large number of family members allergies this will be a nut and seafood free wedding! If you have any other dietary restrictions / allergies your concerned about please contact us.

Will there be alcohol?
Answer
Yes! There will be an open bar set up right outside the barn. Various beer / wine collections with signature cocktails. More details to come...

Receiving of gifts?
Answer
As newlyweds, we are still gratefully accepting gifts from our wedding registry (because love may be priceless, but air fryers are not). You’ll find our registry under the Wedding Registry tab, and gifts can be shipped directly to the bride’s home or brought to the wedding and placed beside the Honeymoon Fund box ;) Thank you for helping us start this next chapter with love, laughter, and maybe a little help furnishing it.

Will there be hotel blocks?

No. However, if you go under travel we have listed a few good options of various pricing within 30 minutes of the venue. We advise you start booking before spring to get the best deals!

Think garden party! summer colors, floral patterns, and lighter color suits / khakis.

What is an unplugged ceremony?
Answer
This is an unplugged ceremony. No phones. No iPads. No “I’ll just be quick.” Our AMAZING photographers and videographers are on it! And trust us, we’ll see the evidence if you couldn’t resist. So unless you want to be that person with the phone in all our wedding photos… don’t be. Love you. Mean it.
