tying the knot

What began as a simple swipe right became a story written by God’s hand. We almost missed each other — both ready to delete the app after just one day. But in perfect timing, Carden saw Grace’s page, swiped right, and it was a match. Carden thought it would be smart to text, “So, are you from Washington?” — even though her page already said she was. Grace didn’t respond right away, so Carden double-texted like a typical man does, which finally got her attention leading her to reply with “Well Duh!” One message turned into laughter. Laughter turned into long conversations. Conversations turned into dates — and somewhere between Lake Stevens and Tacoma, our hearts found home in each other. We quickly realized this wasn’t just chance. It was a God-given gift. On January 23rd, 2025, we made it official. With God at the center and River of Life church as our foundation, our love grew deeper in faith, purpose, and joy. On November 8th, 2025, we said yes to forever. On August 29th, 2026 we celebrate not just our love, but the blessing of a Christ-centered marriage — surrounded by the people we love most. Thank you for being part of our story.
