When are invites going out?

We are done designing the invites and they will be mailed shortly.

Question

Are there any hotel blocks available?

Answer

Due to the breadth of hotels available very close to the wedding and reception (5 to 10 minutes / 1 to 3 miles) we will not be booking hotel blocks. This is also due to hotel preferences and additional charges for any un-filled hotel rooms saved via hotel blocking. Please refer to the lodging and travel page for area hotel details, hotel websites and deals via the hotel websites. We ask that you please book your room(s) accordingly. Please feel free to reach us for any questions.

Are young children invited?

Answer

Yes. If you have young children, they are invited. Please include them on the invite if they will be joining us.

Question

Will there be accommodations for young children at the reception?

Answer

Yes. Please advise us via the invite, or a few weeks prior to the event, if a booster seat or high chair will be needed. Our caterer can accommodate this request if known well in advance.

Food and Drinks

Answer

All food and drinks will be provided at the reception free-of-charge to our guests. The food will be plentiful and buffet style. Please advise of any food allergies or accommodations by reaching out to Grace and I. Our caterer can accommodate dietary requests.

Parking

Answer

Parking will be free and plentiful at the wedding and reception. Time to the reception from the wedding is about a 10 to 15 minute easy drive.

Naper Settlement Information

Answer

There is no payment needed to attend our wedding at Naper Settlement. However, we are only allowed in the church and surrounding area. If you wish to explore Naper Settlement outside of the wedding, a separate fee applies.

Danada House Information

Answer

Danada House is located within Danada Forest Preserve. Danada Forest Preserve can be explored free of charge and is part of the Dupage County Park System. The reception will start with arrivals around 4pm. The reception will end at Midnight.

Hotel Shuttles and Over Night Reception Parking

Answer

Some hotel chains offer a free shuttle service. We are also looking into a shuttle service for the reception and area hotels. Uber and Lyft are also available. Parking overnight at Danada House is OK if we advise our host at Danada House. Further details to follow with any updates. Please check with your hotel for shuttles and shuttle times or any related fees, if any.
