Wedding Party

Meet our wonderful family and friends, ready to help us tie the knot! Bridesmaids Bio's written by Ellie. Groomsman Bio's written by Ben.

Ellie

Bride

Can't believe i'm getting to marry my childhood sweetheart, have my dream fairytale wedding and call myself a wifey! Please try your best to not make me cry and ruin my makeup - and if you see me without a prosecco in hand ... go get me another one! ;)

Ben

Groom

Goals for 2025: 1. Marry the love of my life ✓ 2. Go back to Italy ✓ 3. Watch West Ham lift the Prem trophy - tbc 4. Become a stay at home husband - tbc 5. Drink responsibly ✗

Jess

Maid of Honor

Jess is my longest friend. We met earlier on in school (after a year of being too shy to tell eachother we thought we were cool) and have been besties since, despite jess moving every 5 mins and living in Romford, Egham, Stowmarket, Nottingham, Portsmouth, Birmingham, and probably somewhere else. And although we're different in a million ways (intelligent 4x degree nurse, crossfit champ.....can't relate), there is no one i trust more to hold my veil, dry my tears and get me super drunk.

Alex

Best Man

My twin brother. A man who cannot be confined to one location and loves to be involved in everything. We have gotten closer and closer over the years and have become the best of mates. More importantly, we have created a fierce duo on rocket league. We could sit, drink and talk for days on end. Easiest best man decision ever.

Eleanor

Bridesmaid

14 years of bottomless brunches, holidays, festivals and friendship. Eleanor is one of my ride-or-die closest friends and hype girls. We met our men at the same time, got engaged at the same time, moved practically next door to eachother and both became crazy cat ladies. Fun fact - i really thoughtfully booked my wedding on Eleanors birthday - so when you see her, sing her a song and get her a drink (sorry i'm stealing your thunder ;)

Rob

Best Man

Rob and I always say how blessed we are to be family and best mates. We are so similar and I know this man has always got my back. He inspires me in more ways than he thinks. We will be arm in arm, on the dance floor (or by the bar), to the very end. Or at least until security escorts him out.

Adam

Groomsman

My oldest friend and the highest tier of bloke. My mum calls Adam 'the benchmark' as he is the standard for how all men should be (here we go...). We've been through it all together - my true ride or die. Couldn't ask for a better mate and looking forward to celebrating with you.

Emma

Bridesmaid

I met Emma through Eleanor and the 3 E's were established, and have been confusing everyone we have to introduce ourselves to since. If you're feeling happy, sad, bored, confused, Emma will be there to go out drinking with - no questions asked! She's the glue that keeps us girls together and laughing and no doubt the last woman standing on the dancefloor!

Nick

Groomsman

My second queen and confidant. The only person in the group who might actually be better at football than me, even though it is very close. I can always count on this man for a fun and spontaneous time. Play careless whisper and we will treat everyone to a perfectly crafted dance routine which will have everyone in tears. Honoured to have him him next to me on this special day.

Abi

Bridesmaid

I only met Abi one year ago at work - and i quickly realised i may have met my soulmate...(sorry Ben). From bonding over boujee celeb shoots, endless karaoke, probably 5000 tiktoks shared, a holiday planned and matching tattoos - it was an easy decision to ask Abi to be part of the bride tribe. She may have horrible taste in music and footwear, but maybe that's just normal in Wales? Rwy'n dy garu d!

Mandy

Mother of the Bride

She'll be the one just crying, all day long. I promise you she is actually happy - she just does this. The most supportive, incredible mum (no not my sister) in the world. From dragging her to dress appointments, venue viewings and asking her opinion on everything from hair, makeup, food and beyond - this day wouldn't have been possible without her. I'd be lost without you and can't wait to get to experience this magical day together.

Daren

Father of the Bride

I am truly concerned for both his speech and moves on the dancefloor. The apple didn't fall far from the tree here - we're probably a little more similar than i like to admit! Both creative, hard working, love our food and our animals, a little stubborn and rather funny. (i like to think). His immense support and encouragement has made me become the best version of myself and i wouldn't be able to get down that aisle without him.

Julie

Mother of the Groom

My favourite person in the world (sorry Ellie). A blow monkeys savant and late night rider. Looking forward to banging some glow of love and dancing till we drop. You are beautiful inside and out and I can't wait to spend this day with you. Please just let me know when it's shot o'clock...

Steve

Father of the Groom

The sole man responsible for introducing me to my second love, golf (which Ellie is still thrilled about). My dad has passed onto me many of his great traits, but unfortunately these have all been superseded by 'the Govey eyes' - a genetic gift in making you look like you have had 20 beers despite only drinking 2. So do not be alarmed, we are not tired and yes we would like another beer, thank you. Love you dad and can't wait to share this day with you.

For all the days along the way
