We're getting married!

Over the course of a couple months, my cousin Tracy kept insisting that her boyfriend's best friend would be perfect for me. At the time, I wasn't really interested; but she was very persistent(thankfully), so eventually I agreed to give it a try. Eddie made the first move, just texting "Hey", which if you know him, you know that was huge for him. We talked for a couple weeks, finding out we both had a love for rock music, cats and beer! We went on our first date on December 9, 2018 and made it official on December 28, 2018 and the rest is history!

It was my 25th birthday! I just got home from work, and knew Eddie would be sleeping since he would be leaving for work that evening. However, I opened the front door and he was on the living room couch, and there were flowers on the table along with a gift bag. I opened my present to find a little stuffed bear with "Will you Marry Me?" written on it, I didn't process what it said at first and turned to thank him, and that's when he was behind me on one knee. I did a double take and froze for a few seconds(Eddie will tell you it felt like 5 minutes). It was completely unexpected and I was in shock! Still standing across the room without saying a word to him, he eventually says "Well you have to say something" in a very nervous tone. It was of course a yes. If you know me, you know I hate drawing attention to myself, so this intimate proposal at home with only our cat to witness it was exactly what I needed. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you November 2nd!
