Are kids invited?

Answer

We love your little ones - however, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only event with the exception of children in our immediate family or children in the wedding party. We encourage you to use this evening to have a fun date night!

Can I have a plus one?

Check your invite, if you are unsure if you have one, ask the bride or groom!

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are trying to buy a house so would love it if you'd consider contributing to Our First House fund!

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Kindly RSVP by July 27, 2024. If you cannot attend, we will miss you and would appreciate you letting us know at the soonest opportunity. Those that do not RSVP by July 27, 2024 - we are so sorry you cannot make it! If you miss this date, we may be unable to accommodate your presence at the wedding, as we will send final headcounts to vendors shortly after this deadline.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Dress code is semi-formal. We want you to be comfortable! Note: the ceremony will be outside on the grass so plan footwear accordingly.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

There will be a shuttle service from the Holiday Inn Delafield to the Rustic Manor 1848 prior to the ceremony and from the Rustic Manor 1848 to the Holiday Inn Delafield after the reception. There will be information provided when checking in to the hotel but it will run an hour before the ceremony and the last couple hours of the reception. Hotels are only 2 miles from the venue so the trips are quick!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is a parking lot free for guests at our venue. And don't worry, you can leave it over night if necessary. We want you all to get home safely. However, we will be providing a shuttle to and from the venue so feel free to leave your car in the hotel parking lot.

What is an unplugged ceremony?

Answer

We have chosen to have an unplugged ceremony. This means that during the ceremony we want you to be present with us and refrain from using your camera/phones. We promise to share our professional photos with you! After the ceremony is over feel free to pull those phones and cameras out!

Will the ceremony be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

We are planning on having an outdoor ceremony on the grounds of Rustic Manor 1848. If weather does not cooperate the ceremony will be held in the hayloft of the barn.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the wedding party and family will be taking pictures for a short time. During this time there will be cocktails served as well as yard games to be played! #DrinkWisconsinbly
