Maid of Honor
"Emily and I met when we were randomly paired up as roommates as freshman, however, the years that followed were truly unforgettable. We continued to live together all four years of college and I could not have asked for a better partner and friend through it all! The memories of late night laundry and Sims as well as the countless dance competitions and celebratory tears will be memories that I will never forget! Even after graduating TCNJ we are still besties and now Emily and I live walking distance from each other once again. Emily is like a sister to me and I know that through thick and thin, she will be there. I am so excited to be a part of her special day and to move through this next milestone together! "

"Matt and I met at the local park between our houses when we were 3 years old. Before I knew it, I had the brother I was always looking for. Throughout seemingly endless seasons of soccer and swimming, Matt and I remained close friends throughout our childhood. Through adulthood, we've found companionship through good music, good beer, and toxic relationships with Philadelphia sports. I am honored to stand by his side while he marries the love of his life, and can't wait to raise a glass to the good times to come! "

"My name is Rebecca, but you can call me Becca like Emily always has. We have been besties ever since Emily risked her life for the sake of our very important middle school grades. Breaking the cardinal rule that as a science teacher she still lives by today, she tasted Sludge, our lab experiment, so we would get a 100%. She has been stuck with me ever since! Over the years, our sleepovers making music videos to Cobra Starship have evolved into wine and cheese girls' nights with Bonnie. We have made some of the biggest decisions of our lives together at these gatherings and have kept them up even since I have moved to North Carolina for veterinary school. I could not be more honored to stand by Emily on her wedding day and celebrate the most cherished commitment of her life."

As his brother, I've been through a lot with Matt over the years. The English language does not have words to appropriately describe our incredibly silly yet heartwarming relationship, as much as I might try to do it justice. What I can say, though, is that I'm blessed to have an incredibly kind, understanding, and supportive brother, even if it was annoying to get mistaken for each other regularly for a decade or so. I can't imagine what my life would be like without him there to stand by my side for so long, and I couldn't be happier that he found someone who will gladly spend their life with him.

"Hi! I’m Juliana and I’ve known Emily since we were 4 years old! We met at Vacation Bible School, and with both of us missing our front teeth, becoming lifelong friends was obviously a must! Sleepovers, American Girl Dolls, visiting Nanny, the Butterfly Festival, even declaring our love to the Sprouse twins- we shared it all! High school musicals, singing in choir, NYC trips, our heart to heart chats, are just a few of the fun adventures we’ve had. My best memories always have Emily in them. She is family to me. Can’t wait to make this new memory with you."

"I met Dotsey (AKA Matt) during our freshman year of high school. We sat near each other during our Spanish class and that kicked off the start of a beautiful friendship. Over the next 10+ years, we spent a lot of time together after school, going to the gym together and skiing/snowboarding trips during the Winter. Dotsey has become a most reliable and amusing friend that I have had the pleasure of getting to know. He's always up for anything from some reckless fun like skydiving or just hanging out, cracking some drinks and playing games. It's really a privilege being a part of such a momentous occasion and I wish Matt and Emily a wonderful and prosperous life together! Congratulations!"

"Emily and I met as freshmen at The College of New Jersey. We bonded quickly over our love of dance and musical theater. It didn't take too long before we became inseparable through spending countless nights laughing, crying, singing, and choreographing together. Over the years, our friendship has developed and matured in such beautiful ways. We are able to celebrate all of life's exciting milestones together! It's no secret that I "shipped" Emily and Matt as a couple for a long time. I can't wait to witness the marriage of these two wonderful people as the self proclaimed #captainoftheship!"

"Matthew and I met as brothers of Phi Alpha Delta fraternity at the College of New Jersey 8 years ago. After years of being friendly with each other, we became housemates. We quickly became close friends fighting side by side to make our fraternity great. Through the years Matt and I have stayed close and continue to feed off each others sense of humor. We have been on several vacations together and are in the same anime club. Our love for one another is only rivaled by the love that Emily and Matt have for each other."

"I met Emily on our first cruise together and it was love at first sight!!! Our friendship has grown so much in just a few short years. From shopping and Zumba buddies to vent sessions when in need, I can always count on Emily! I am so excited to be a part of her wedding and can't wait to see where this journey takes her! Wishing Emily and Matt so much love and happiness!"

2012 was an unforgettable year. Should you muster the courage to deep dive into the depths of YouTube, you will find a video unlike any other. A video so bold, so daring, so preposterous, you will be shaken to your very core. The number one sensation in 2012 was not Snoop. Nor was it Justin Bieber or Taylor Lautner’s abs. It was a boy with a dream to be Vice President of the Freshman Class Council of TCNJ. In the year of 2012, Matthew Dotsey accomplished his dream of earning a seat on the Class Council with a single campaign video, which was a parody of the top sensation that year, Gangnam Style. And I found a lifelong friend on YouTube. It is a privilege to self-proclaim Matthew Dotsey as the real number one sensation of 2012. And I am honored to call him one of my closest friends. Matt and I went on to be fraternity brothers and even housemates. The good times and memories we made I will cherish forever.

"I met Emily shortly after I moved to Philadelphia in 2016. I had recently begun to date Jake Maggioncalda, Matt’s childhood best friend, when the four of us went to a concert together. Emily’s warmth and kindness immediately made me feel welcome to the group. Our mutual love of good books and musicals and shared taste in beverages (quality beer and scotch, always!) made us fast friends. Throughout the years we’ve made many great memories together, and I’m honored that I will be a part of this special day! Congrats, Em!"

"As cousins born three days apart I can say I’ve known Matt all my life. Naturally there was a strong connection from the start and we’ve been been best buds ever since. From riding tandem bikes to skydiving we’ve had a blast over the years and made many awesome memories along the way. I’m so happy for you as we get closer to your big day. I know the good times are only about to begin. Wishing you and Emily much happiness and health."

"I truly was blessed with an amazing additional family when I married my husband, and my sister-in-law Emily is a prime example of that! From day one she’s welcomed me and supported me. I came into her life at a unique time when she was starting college and ending her first relationship. So because of that, I got to be a witness to her meeting new guys, and finding herself along the way. I’ve gotten to experience so many highs and lows with her, and we’ve been able to support each other through all of those times. She has felt like a lifelong sister and friend before we were even officially sisters, and I’m so honored to be part of her team as she gets ready to be married herself! "

"Matt Dotsey Review: Along with being an excellent partner for my sister, Matt Dotsey is a good dude. I remember one of the first times Emily brought him to meet our crazy family, I started grilling him on all different types of subjects while we put together my mom’s new bed. He aced the test and has become truly part of the family. He’s always ready to help out whether it be running back to my mom’s house, 10 minutes before the start of my wedding to find our “oathing stones” for the ceremony, or shoveling our sidewalk this winter “just for the work out” (thanks again for that). I repeat, Matt is a good dude, but most importantly, he loves and cares for my sister deeply, and I know she will be well taken care of with him around. Matt Dotsey - 10/10 - Perfectly balanced, addicting gameplay. 50 IBU."

"Even though I was born an only child, I was blessed to gain Emily as a sister when I married her brother Danny. Emily has always made strides to be inclusive and keep the family together. So much so that Emily gave me her grandmother's apple pendant necklace after Danny proposed in an apple orchard as a way to welcome me into the family. Emily and I also both share a love of crafting as a way to bring people together; whether it be delicious smelling candles that smell like home or festive Reinbeer at the holidays to share together."

"Even before I knew Matt, I was ‘Team Dotsey’. His reputation proceeded him as a kind, reliable and courteous gentleman. It all turned out to be true and more. As Emily’s (slightly) older brother, I can now proudly say that he is the funniest member of the family with his perfectly timed one liners that cleverly deescalate even the worst Brown family imbroglio. His cool demeanor helps ground my sister and together they are already more than the sum of their parts. I am proud to hand over the protectorate title to Matt with the knowledge that his superior muscular strength and wit will surely defend against any potential foe."
