We grew up together through grade school, with Hayden being a year ahead of me. I always had a little crush on him throughout high school, but we never really ran in the same friend groups and eventually went our separate ways for college. Hayden attended TCU, and I went to Texas Tech, where I became great friends with both his older brother, Will, and younger sister, Brinley.
