8.5.15 After a few weeks of getting to know each other over the phone, we met in Brooklyn for dinner and drinks. Brendan had an elaborate night planned, but of course I got lost on the way to Bay Ridge, and by the time I got there, we only had time for dinner. Thank you to Brendan for talking me through the entire drive there! Inevitably showing me what a protective caretaker he would turn out to be. We ate at an adorable little Italian restaurant in Brooklyn that became our go to for many celebrations. Our night was everything we thought it would be and we decided to make things official only two weeks later. Things moved quickly and we were inseparable for months. We've experienced so much together; good, bad and everything in between, we joke that we don't remember life before each other. A move to Long Island, several new jobs, two dogs, countless trips, and a global pandemic later, we are just so excited to finally be husband & wife. THE PROPOSAL 2.25.21 Two days before my birthday, Brendan planned for us to take a walk on the beach on the first sunny day we've had in weeks! We packed up the pups and headed to a beach that was new to both of us. The sun was shining, the waves were crashing, the beach was empty and it was blissful. On our walk Brendan stopped and slowly got down on one knee. I'll never forget the sweet things he said in that moment and I'm so grateful that we'll always have that intimate moment together. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you on June 11th! Please see the FAQs section for COVID-19 guidelines & information.
