She went from 20 years at a salon to a career keeping people safe which is ironic, considering the number of murder documentaries she consumes. (Joe sleeps with one eye open.) She’s mom to Aiden, bonus mom to Max, Zoe, and Mia, and fully convinced this whole “blended family” thing is her greatest life upgrade.

Joe’s a proud Michigan alum (Go Blue!) who works at Johnson & Johnson and treats the gym like a second job. He also once swore he’d never get married again… but a Bumble match with Claire had other plans. These days, he spends his time keeping up with the kids, and Claire's disturbingly detailed knowledge of crime scenes. He says he’s never been happier and he means it, even if he’s still a little nervous when she takes notes during Dateline.

Max is finishing up his freshman year at Rutgers and already following in Joe’s footsteps in business and supply chain mastery. As the oldest of four, he’s a natural leader, expert problem-solver, and the one everyone looks to for guidance (and the occasional dad joke).

Zoe is a standout swimmer, lifeguard, and soon-to-be high school graduate who somehow balances it all with a thriving social life. She’s the best big sister around and never turns down a good murder show marathon with Claire.
