We have decided to do an intimate ceremony with just close family and friends on Friday, November 13th. We made this decision so we could could throw a bigger celebration on Saturday in the hopes that more of our loved ones would be able to attend. We will make sure everyone who comes to the Celebration has access to the ceremony pictures!
No physical gifts please! We would love for everyone to bring their favorite recipe, printed out, to the celebration so we can make our very own cook book filled with love. Our registry will just be for our house fund and other small activities that we are excited about.
Food, music, an open bar, and a good time! Instead of having a sit down dinner and traditional wedding festivities, think of this as any old party one might have at a bar.
Malört, a Swedish wormwood liqueur, has a bitter taste that's often described as: Pencil shavings Old battery rust Citrus zest Ear wax Grapefruits soaked in gasoline Lighter fluid Tree roots Burnt tires Bug spray with DEET Liquid ear wax Grace may or may not request you take a shot of it with her to celebrate her marriage and her love of Chicago <3
There are a few parking lots nearby and street parking seems pretty available. The bar is also about a 6 minute walk away from the Damen Green Line Stop!
Unfortunately, Scout does not believe in marriage so she is boycotting our wedding.
