Yes! We have decided to do an intimate ceremony with close family and friends on Friday, November 13 followed by a larger celebration on Saturday, November 14. We made this decision so we could afford to have more of our loved ones in attendance.
The save-the-date will say November 13-14 for those invited to both events or November 14 for those invited to the Celebration. This will also be clear when you RSVP.
Food, music, open bar, and a good time! Instead of having a sit down dinner and traditional wedding festivities, think of this as any old party one might have at a bar.
No physical gifts please! We would love for everyone to bring their favorite recipe (either printed out or emailed to goscwedding@gmail.com) to the celebration so we can make our very own cook book filled with love. Our registry will just be for our house fund, mutual aid, and other small activities that we are excited about.
Malört, a Swedish wormwood liqueur, has a bitter taste that's often described as: Pencil shavings Old battery rust Citrus zest Ear wax Grapefruits soaked in gasoline Lighter fluid Tree roots Burnt tires Bug spray with DEET Liquid ear wax Grace may or may not request you take a shot of it with her to celebrate her marriage and her love of Chicago <3
Unfortunately, Scout does not believe in marriage so she is boycotting our wedding. Prince is a romantic at heart, but he's banned from any location that has plants he could pee on.
