This is an absolutely gorgeous and deeply pretentious coffee shop/art exhibit/hair salon. This is our most frequented coffee shop by far - we recommend the Mar, but you really can't go wrong here. It might not be the most cozy option, but it certainly is the best sip of coffee that Phoenix has to offer. Please allow 30min for this experience. There are typically baked goods here as well, but our favorite baked goods are only available on the weekends. Don't delay - they sell out!
This is a very relaxed, very adorable, simple coffee spot with a fabulous porch. They have excellent iced teas as well. A great spot to relax and enjoy downtown. Maybe you'll get to meet Inky Bob, the local black cat!
This is an excellent choice for coffee if you're up for a little drive. Approximately 10min from downtown, next to Uptown Market (ladies, check out Local Nomad here), this is a quaint little spot inside of an outdoor furniture market. Our go-to order is a cold brew with the banana foam (life changing).
This is the spot. Breakfast/brunch/coffee, also dinner hits! We have fallen in love over these dirty mesquite chais and vanilla corn cappuccinos. There is also a mid-century modern vintage store in the back of the restaurant! If you're looking for late night options, there is a speakeasy here as well, called 1912. This is just the best spot - it has our hearts.
This is where we had our post-engagement breakfast! This spot, open 7-2, is a perfect breakfast or lunch option - it feels so cozy and homey. They also have a killer bakery case, worlds hugest coffee cake! They also own Satellite Coffee (it's their *satellite* location... get it!) so you know it's good.

This perfect bungalow has been renovated into a truly magical experience tucked into downtown. You must get the beets!
An excellent choice for elevated Thai. We have never been disappointed in this menu. You absolutely must order a green mango salad. We crave this unique flavor profile, nothing comes close to it. Definitely get a reservation.
This is such a romantic little spot. Glai Baan is laid back and more street-style Thai and an absolute gem. Approximately 10min away from downtown. The twinkle lights inside - it's so adorable!
Our go to sushi spot. There's a little patio out front that's fun for soaking up city life, or dimly lit bar and seating area inside for extra romance.
