Taquiza
The blue corn chips and tortillas at Taquiza will delight and surprise you! With 2 locations on the beach (one in North Beach and one in South Beach), this is a must-visit.
Lucali
For all of you New Yorkers who are too impatient to wait 3 hours to get into Lucali in Brooklyn, the Miami Beach Lucali will set you straight. This is our go-to Pizza whenever we get a craving.
Broken Shaker at Freehand Miami
Looking to grab some cocktails on the Beach? One of our favorite bars is at the Broken Shaker, inside the Freehand Hotel, where you can always get a delicious and innovative cockail and enjoy it poolside. Right next door, at 27 Restaurant, you will find the same cocktails and a delicious mediteranean inspired menu. Fun fact: 27 is where the Epsteins and Gorochows got dinner after the engagement!
La Sandwicherie Miami Beach
For some quick sandwiches and/or smoothies on fresh-baked baguettes or croissants (or salads if you're into that), you will not be disappointed at the original La Sandwicherie location in South Beach.
Boia De
For some incredible Italian-inspired modern dining, check out Boia De. Its a cozy spot, so reservations are recommended!
KUSH
For delicious burgers and an always impressive beer list, head to Lokal in Coconut Grove or Kush in Wynwood - - the Key Lime pie is a Gorochow family favorite!
Tinta Y Cafe
For Lacey and Jake's favorite sandwiches in Miami (picture cuban style sandwiches of all kinds on freshly baked baguettes) and incredible Cuban Coffee and pastries, Pro-tip: the main location is less than 10 minutes from the airport, and perfect for a pre-flight lunch. There's also another location near Lacey & Jake's place in Miami Shores.
KYU
For Japanese bbq style scrumptiousness, be sure to make your dinner reservations far in advance at KYU.
The Salty Donut Wynwood
You just spent the day walking, swimming or cycling, and you deserve a reward! Check out The Salty Donut, and don't be surprised if you burst into giggles after your first bite.
Salt & Straw
A recent arrival from the west coast, Salt "y" Straw has quickly become our favorite local ice cream spot (complete with phenomenal vegan flavors).
Byblos Miami
For light and tasty eastern mediterranean cuisine, check out Byblos, and don't forget to order the truffle bread!
Yardbird Southern Table and Bar
Fried chicken, biscuits, and bourbon cocktails? Yes please! Lacey took Jake to Yardbird on one of their earlier dates, and the love-struck effect was not surprising.
Lung Yai Thai Tapas
For the best Thai food around, be sure to check out Lung Yai, but beware, this place is serious, and once you've ordered, there are no second chances. No reservations available, but its well worth the wait - - we would just suggest going at an off-hour.
Zak the Baker
For fresh breads, baked goods, and some of the best hummus outside of Israel, visit ZTB in Wynwood. Don't be surprised to find the Epsteins there grabbing some pastelitos for the plane.
Jaguar Sun
Nestled behind the lobby of a Downtown High-rise, Jaguar Sun offers creative and delicious cocktails and high-end/homemade pasta dishes. The parker-house rolls are a must-order.
