It all started with a swipe. Scott suggested we walk to Cafe Sasso for coffee, and then to Cobbs Hill to see his favorite view of the city. From the moment we met we never stopped talking...about anything and everything. After our first date we immediately made plans for a second. The rest is history!
It was a typical Sunday night. We were at home, hanging out watching the Eagles game. Scott told me he was "going out to work in the garage" but he was really going to meet my friend at the park where he would propose. She would be the one to capture the moment Scott got down on one knee. When he came back inside he told me he had reservations at 'fancy ice cream shop.' If you know me, I looove ice cream anytime of the year, but the fanciness and reservation made me start to wonder... I threw on some makeup and a coat and headed out the door with him. We parked in the old neighborhood we used to live in and walked by Cafe Sasso (our first date spot), Scott's old apartment, and finally the park at the end of his old street. He suggested we go look at the Christmas tree in the park. While standing by the tree he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him! Through tears of joy I said, "YES!"
