Kevin and Jordan met on May 11, 2009. As Jordan’s story goes, Kevin seemed unimpressed, since (unbeknownst to her) he was dating another girl at the time. But Jordan went home to her roommates that evening (among them, officiant Lauren Hutton) and told them, “I am going to fall in love with Kevin.” At the time, they were working as Resident Assistants at Founders Hall at NYU. Jordan continued to pursue Kevin, inviting him out with friends on multiple occasions, only to be denied time after time, convincing her that he was thoroughly uninterested. One evening, after Kevin denied Jordan’s invite to the local bar with friends because he wanted to have ‘a quiet night in’, she spotted him on the street in the East Village; clearly his excuse of a quiet night in was all a ruse. Understandably embarrassed, Jordan made sure her back was turned to Kevin as he approached her group of friends. After making eye contact with her gaggle of gals, Kevin promptly crossed the street, in an effort to go unnoticed and assuredly avoid conflict with Jordan’s friends, who were ready to defend her honor... OR... as Kevin tells it.... NEVAH HAPPENED And that is where their stories merge. In a surprising turn of events, Kevin accepted Jordan’s next invite out with mutual friends. They had a great time and took their first photo together. Kevin then asked Jordan out on their first date: a picnic in Central park. They have been inseparable ever since. They have supported each other through graduations, job and career changes, two cross country moves, family vacations, and the adoption of their deaf and (mostly) blind dog, Beauregard.

After 9 years, on a trip to NYC, Kevin took Jordan on a tour of the city where they shared all of their "firsts": First date, first kiss, first time he told her loved her. Finally they ended up at the place they first met and after many years too late, he asked to make it official. They have most recently moved to Atlanta and after 12 years (good God!) are excited to start the next chapter of their wedded lives!
