We met on a blind date! Always the single girl amongst my friends at work, my coworkers began to create 'bachelorette boards' and take turns setting me up with eligible 'bachelors'. Chris Harrison has nothing on the Children's Hospital Rehab team! When one coworker showed me Jordan's picture, I remember saying, "I've got a good feeling about this one." I'm not sure how he was persuaded to go out with a complete stranger, but after some texting and major social media creeping we decided to meet. Jordan drove up from Lincoln to Omaha for a happy hour date at The Blatt. Thinking it would be a quick hour or two, he made plans with some buddies for later that night. One hour turned into two, which turned into dinner, drinks, him cancelling his plans with his friends and us talking until the wee hours of the morning. As they say, the rest is history!

On Christmas 2020 Jordan made it official! We were spending the holiday with my family down in Fayetteville, Arkansas. The last present under the tree was for me, and when I opened it I found a bottle of champagne. I was obviously confused! Jordan then handed me a handwritten letter telling me how much he loved me. Before I knew it, he had me up in front of my family and was down on one knee! I was absolutely shocked and blubbering like a baby. We can’t wait to start our life together on April 30th, 2022 with all of our favorite people celebrating with us!
