What do I need prior to entering the country?

1. A valid passport is required for travel to the Dominican Republic. Please ensure your passport is valid for at least six months beyond your travel dates. 2. Dominican Republic E-Ticket Required (and free) for both entry and departure. Complete it online before you travel. https://eticket.migracion.gob.do/

How do airport transfers work?

Answer

Transportation between Punta Cana International Airport (PUJ) and the resort is required. For arrival, guests who book transfers through our destination wedding planner will be met at the airport after clearing immigration and customs and directed to their transportation. For departure, transfers typically depart the resort approximately 3 hours before scheduled flight departure, which is standard for international flights.

What dates will Kelly and Scott be at the resort?

We’ll be at the resort from Wednesday through Thursday and would love for anyone who wants to make a longer trip out of it to join us for as much of the week as you’d like.

What’s included at the resort?

Answer

Dreams Macao Beach Punta Cana is an all-inclusive resort. Your stay includes meals, drinks, and many on-site activities. Additional experiences may be available at an extra cost. While tipping is not required, we suggest bringing small bills ($1s & $5s) to tip as you see fit during your stay.

What is the dress code for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Beach Formal Formal wedding attire, adapted for a tropical setting. Men Dress shirt, dress slacks and dress shoes. Jacket optional; no tie required. Light colors and breathable fabrics like linen are encouraged. Women A dress or similarly dressy attire suited to an outdoor beach wedding. Lightweight fabrics are encouraged.

The welcome event is casual, come as you are. Whether you’re heading to dinner or just arriving, no need to change before stopping by.

Will my phone work there?

Answer

International roaming fees can be expensive. We recommend turning on Wi-Fi Calling before you go, and most phones can call and text without an international plan using the resort's WiFi.
