How do I RSVP?

Answer

What is the dress code? What should I wear?

Answer

Our wedding dress code is casual. Wear something that makes you feel comfortable, confident, and ready to celebrate!

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Weather permitting, the ceremony will be outdoors and the reception will be indoors. In the case of inclement weather, the ceremony will be moved inside the barn.

What weather should I expect?

Answer

Of course, we can’t guarantee anything, but early September in this part of West Virginia tends to still be pretty warm. What should I expect after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the wedding party will be taking pictures around the property. Guests can make their way into the barn to enjoy snacks and drinks while they wait.

What’s the parking situation like? Will transportation be provided?

Answer

We are not providing any formal transportation for this event at this time. The venue has ample parking in the field out front, as well as more handicap-accessible parking just outside the barn. Lyft is a great option for those who don’t feel comfortable driving. Please stay safe and default to a ride service or carpooling if you plan to drink

Are you registered? Where should we ship your gift?

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

Kids are allowed, but not recommended outside of immediate family. We want everyone to be able to relax and have a good time, and weddings can get pretty boring (especially the ceremony) when you’re a kid trying to quietly sit still.

Can I bring a +1?

Answer

Unfortunately we are unable to accommodate additional guests. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on the invitation. Please refrain from bringing a plus one unless it has been specified on your invitation.

What type of food and drink will be served during the cocktail hour and reception?

Answer

We’ll be serving light snacks during the cocktail hour, followed by BBQ and complimentary sides during the reception. Our signature his-and-hers cocktails will be available to all guests of drinking age, as well as a variety of other alcoholic beverages, water, and sodas.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

We do ask that you refrain from taking photos during the ceremony - we’d like our guests to be more in-the-moment, and allow our lovely photographer to capture our ceremony unobstructed. For the rest of the wedding, we are going to put together a shared document for guests to upload pictures.
