Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Stephanie Bazan and Connor Gordon
Here are a few fun things to do in Lancaster and the surrounding area for the weekend!
Cork & Cap Restaurant

Cork & Cap Restaurant

480 New Holland Avenue, Lancaster, PA 17602

Located right in the hotel, the Cork and Cap restaurant is a great place to grab dinner and drinks without traveling too far! The restaurant is open 5-10pm, with the bar open from 3-10pm, making it a perfect spot to mingle and grab a drink with other guests when you arrive, either on Friday night or before the wedding on Saturday.

Quips Pub

Quips Pub

457 New Holland Avenue, Lancaster, PA 17602

Quips Pub is a quick 400 foot walk from the hotel, just across New Holland Road. This pub is where you can continue the party after the wedding if you aren't quite done imbibing yet, as it is open until 2am on Friday and Saturday night. The inn it resides in was built before the Civil War and they pride themselves on hospitality in a peculiar atmosphere! Shots anyone?

Lancaster Brewing Company

Lancaster Brewing Company

302 North Plum Street, Lancaster, PA 17602

Home to Lancaster's first commercially brewed beer, this is a great place to grab lunch/dinner with many different local brews on tap. With names of beers like "Peace Hog" and "Shoo-Fly Pie", and America's original Milk Stout, this is a spot beer lovers can't miss. Tours of the brewery are also offered.

Lancaster Science Factory

Lancaster Science Factory

454 New Holland Avenue, Lancaster, PA 17602

The Lancaster Science Factory is a hands-on, interactive science center for kids in Pre-K to 8th grade and their families. Great if you are traveling with kids (or an adult with an unquenchable thirst for knowledge) and need an activity to do, and only a walk across the parking lot from the hotel!

Lancaster Central Market

Lancaster Central Market

23 North Market Street, Lancaster, PA 17603

Established in 1730, this is the oldest publicly owned continuously running farmer's market in America! This indoor farmer's market has great food and goods. Support the Amish!

The Amish Farm and House

The Amish Farm and House

2395 Covered Bridge Drive, Lancaster, PA 17602

America's first Amish attraction that offers a guided tour through a previously lived in Amish house, the Amish countryside, and a 15-acre farm with farm animals available to pet. Do as the romans do, or something like that, so why not explore Lancaster's Amish Heritage.

Turkey Hill Experience

Turkey Hill Experience

301 Linden Street, Columbia, PA 17512

Take a trip to the Turkey Hill Ice Cream Factory and learn how ice cream is made, sit in a milk truck, milk some mechanical cows, and even create your own pint of ice cream! Of course there are also unlimited samples of their ice cream and tea products if milking a mechanical cow wasn't motivation enough.
