Jenny and Gordi’s story began with a rekindling of old family friendships. As they began to spend more time together in group settings, their relationship sparked, eventually evolving into their nighttime runs and talks. Small moments like these laid the foundation for bigger steps. Gordi finally asked Jenny out under the stars of St. Martin after many months of pining after her. He jokes that he was waiting for a moment like that to boost his chances of her saying yes. In Jenny’s eyes, he took his sweet time and then some. Jenny is the adventurous free spirit of this couple, whereas Gordi is the logical buzzkill. They like to say balance is key. By God’s grace and guidance, their relationship has flourished, creating lasting memories that span from homey cook nights to starry excursions and wild UTV rides out in the desert. They serve at church together, play sports together, possess the same love for God, and so much more. Now they’ve decided to share a life together. On September 30, 2023, Gordi proposed to the love of his life, and she said yes. On July 6, 2024, they would like to share the beginning of their matrimony with all of you.
