This structure is believed to be more than 2,000 years old and was thought to have been built in the shape of an eagle or some other large bird. Continue your day of exploration with over 15 miles of trails that surround the area’s wetlands and effigy. This location is ideal for bird watching and viewing many other native wildlife inhabitants of Georgia.

The Landing was the first golf course on Lake Oconee and underwent an extensive renovation and refurbishment in 2012. This Scottish-style championship course was built on hilly terrain with water features coming into play on eight holes. The rough is heather-type grass with numerous mounds and grassy hollows proving a greater challenge. 15 minute drive from the resort Par 72 | 7,051 yards | 18 holes

This 27 hole course plays long and narrow through the towering pines and flowering dogwoods that are native to middle Georgia. With more than 100 bunkers, several holes are tucked along the shores of Lake Oconee. The National Course gives players little room for error. Fazio uses the natural beauty of the land in conjunction with his expert eye for a challenging layout to create a true work of art. 10 minute drive from the resort Par 72 | 7,066 yards | 27 holes

This Rees Jones design has been described by many as mind-game golf, often forcing golfers to choose between direct tee shots over inlets of Lake Oconee and long drives down tree-lined dog-leg fairways. Noted for its spectacular par threes which feature multiple tee boxes, drop shots from elevated tees and numerous water hazards, the course offers magnificent lake views, along with creeks and ponds, ensuring an unrivaled challenge for players of all experience levels. Bob Cupp, 1988 The course that set the stage for Reynolds Lake Oconee to become the golfer's Mecca it is today. The course features wide fairways and careful bunker placement. The Preserve course provides golfers with a more relaxing and forgiving layout that can be enjoyed by golfers of all experience levels. 10 minute drive from the resort Par 72 | 6,698 yards | 18 holes
