Nicolette Piazza

Maid of Honor

Nicolette is Anna's sister and best friend. She enjoys trips to Lake Tahoe with the family to go boating in the summer and skiing in the winter. Some of her other hobbies include photography, going to the city with friends, and spending time with Marge (the family cat). Nicolette and Gordon also go way back to the high school days in which they would cross paths at the batting cages. They enjoy going to hip-hop concerts together.

Daniel Camburn

Best Man

Daniel and Gordon met on the first day of kindergarten at West Valley Elementary. They have been best friends ever since! As youngsters, they were on the same youth soccer and basketball teams together. These "Kennewick Drive" kids played in some epic neighborhood street hockey games and made roller blading videos... mostly of horrible wipeouts. Whether it's Las Vegas, Bend, San Diego, Mexico, or Sunnyvale, these two always seem to find trouble. One day they hope to open their own brewery and call it "Kennewick Brewing Co."

Megan Andrews

Bridesmaid

Megan and Anna met at West Valley Elementary. They became friends when they were coached in soccer by both of their dads on the "Dream Team." Anna visits Megan in Colorado where they enjoy drinking at the local Denver breweries. Both the Piazza and Andrews families enjoy spending time together in Lake Tahoe, where they boat and laugh over home-cooked meals.

Kevin Convissar

Kevin and Gordon have been very close since 2nd grade. They are probably most known for getting into neighborhood trouble as kids; whether it was making silly movies or conversing with neighbors. These two spent a lot of summers going to Skyhawks sports camps, bowling at Homestead Lanes, and drinking ICEEs from 7-11. They also played baseball together at Homestead High. Growing up together they always felt like brothers.

Deanna Deacon

Bridesmaid

Deanna is the sister of the groom and has become like a big sister to Anna. She is always the first person down for Sunday mimosa brunch. We suspect she may be "part Piazza" because she blends into our big Italian-Irish family so well. You will find her at the center of the dance floor considering both she and her brother will most likely be the best dancers at the wedding.

Lawrence Lorenzano

Groomsman

Lawrence is the fiance of Deanna and has become a good friend of Gordon's. He enjoys golfing, drinking different whiskies in his "whiskey room," and spending time with family & friends. You might find Gordon and Lawrence constantly quoting comedy movies throughout the night. Catch them out on the dance floor for just about the whole night!

Maya Padilla

Maya and Anna met at Chico State in the dorms on the infamous eighth floor. They spent their time together hiking "the flumes," beach camping in SoCal, and taking girls trips to Hawaii. The two lived together in Creekside their sophomore years. This was the year that Maya and Anna's friendship really blossomed into what it is today.

Kevin Barbano

As you can see by the photo, Kevin and Gordon have known each other for a long time! To be exact, since they were one and two years old. The amount of skateboarding videos and late nights playing Play Station as kids is incomparable. They've been known to sneak into an occasional PG-13 movie at the theaters. Pretty wild, am I right? These two have definitely always been like the brothers they never had!

Gabrielle Levine

Gabrielle and Anna met at Chico State. They have more in common than one could imagine. Not only were they born on the same exact day, but both of their parents met and fell in love at Chico State. Gabrielle met her husband, Kasey, in Chico... Anna and Gordon also began dating in Chico. Fun fact - Gordon was the minister for Gabrielle and Kasey's wedding in 2022. The two became close their first two years of school and lived at "The Stumble Inn" house both junior and senior year.

Alex Medin

Alex and Gordon met while attending Cupertino Middle School. Little did they know, they would be playing a lot of baseball together for many years to come. It started with playing for the same travel baseball team and eventually the same high school team. These two had to have been the most feared 1-2 hitters in the De Anza Division. They've been known to get in a little trouble on their travel team trips, whether it was in San Diego or Las Vegas. Let's just say... Alex and Gordon know how to "scramble a few eggs."

Katie and Anna met in elementary school while making flower crowns in the field during their brothers’ tee ball game. Anna and Katie share many fun memories of playing soccer together, Disneyland trips, and mountain trips. They both share a love for books and re-watching Gilmore Girls.

Joseph Mason

Joe and Gordon met and connected instantly due to their love for the 49ers and S.F. Giants. The two had probably only spent time together a few times yet decided to spearhead a boys trip to New Orleans to watch their Niners play! Drew Brees vs. Jimmy G ended up being one of the best offensive showdowns in NFL history. The numerous Arnold trips over the years has brought them closer together than ever. They've become the best of friends!

Kimberlee Fidler

Kimberlee and Anna met playing soccer as young girls and were the start of what was known as the "Dream Team." Anna has many fond memories with Kim making fun of “coach dorkypants” aka Coach Rick Piazza during soccer practice, watching She's The Man, and teepeeing peoples houses after soccer parties.

Anthony Piazza

Anthony is Anna’s younger brother and has become like a little brother to Gordon. They have gone on many ski/snowboard trips together. Now that Anthony is 21, these two enjoy having a Manhattan with Rick from time to time. One of their fondest memories is driving up to Concord Pavilion for a Wiz Khalifa concert several years ago. Quite possibly one of the most epic nights of their lives!

Karlee Fidler

Karlee and Anna met on the soccer field and like many of the bridesmaids she was one of the original 'Dream Team" members. Karlee (and her sister Kimberlee) have been there for Anna for all of life’s major moments, graduations, sports events, back surgery, and now weddings. They have many fun memories of meeting at "the corners" with their families for a Pizza My Heart dinner and Pink Berry dessert.

Danny Miller

Danny and Gordon met at Mission College where they played baseball together. After two years, they couldn't get enough of each other so they decided to live in the same townhouse together and play baseball at Chico State. If they weren't on the baseball diamond, "Diver Dan" and "Goldfish Gold" could be found at Riley's, Crazy Horse, or the Bear putting back a few drinks. Junior year, they won the West Regional Championship and went to the College World Series. Some might say Gordon is the "fraternal triplet."

Shannon King

When Anna moved into the dorms at Chico State, her mother made her go around and knock on other girls' rooms to meet all of the people on the floor. Luckily enough, the first room she knocked on belonged to Shannon. They became friends and were roommates most of college. They enjoyed many fun Chico nights together whether it was beers at The Bear, dressing up for Halloween, or hanging out with their roomies. Anna has many fond memories with Shannon - taking trips to Tahoe, Hawaii, and camping for spring break together.

Steven and Gordon met while playing baseball together at Mission College. Incase everyone wants to know, Steven is the older brother by 9 minutes (to Danny). Gordon missed Steven a lot his first year away at Chico State. Thankfully, Steven transferred to Chico for his senior year so they could become roommates! "Scuba Steve" and "Goldfish Gord" spent a lot of time with Kevin Riley and with oversized Coronas at the Crazy Horse.

Sarah Piazza

Sarah is the wife of the officiant and brother to Anna. Sarah and Anna enjoy wine tasting together and going on double dates. They have had fun memories going to Arnold and skiing together, celebrating family holidays, and going on family vacations to Lake Tahoe.

Matt and Gordon, where do I even begin? These two met through some mutual friends and have become inseparable. Whether it's seeing who can drink more beers on the golf course or yelling at the TV while watching 49ers games, these two know how to have a good time. They started to become great friends when Gordon convinced Matt to fly to NOLA the week before his finals to watch Jimmy G beat Drew Brees in an offensive showdown.

Dannica Lyon

Dannica and Anna met through Anna's little sister, Nicolette. She is an adopted member of the Piazza family and has become like a little sister to Anna. They have many fun memories of going to concerts, boat days in Tahoe, New Year's parties, themed parties during quarantine, and enjoying cocktails provided by the best bartenders... their Dads.

Justin Shayesteh

Do not let this picture fool you - Justin and Gordon go all the way back to the West Valley Elementary days! Every single day after school, these two would play 1 on 1 on the basketball courts while waiting for their older sisters to get out of class. Justin is known to go out of his way to lend Gordon his car after he’s missed his flight to catch a wedding. Gordon on the other hand is known to give Justin an intense, motivational speech in a "time of need." You could say these two are "ride or die" buddies.

Anna met Emily in the Whitney Hall Dorms at Chico State. They became friends and roommates their sophomore year as well. When Anna and Gordon were long distance, Emily was always available to be Anna's date for her sorority dances. They have many fun memories taking trips to Tahoe, Hawaii, going camping, celebrating bachelorette parties, and weddings.

Ryne Clark

Some of you may know Ryne as "Howie." While some of his closer friends know him as "Toby." Gordon and Ryne met while playing baseball together at Chico State. These two were most known for going to In & Out Burger, and then walking next door to get some Krispy Kreme doughnuts for dessert. During Ryne's final semester at Chico, he introduced Gordon to the infamous "Riley's Pitcher Night."

James Piazza

James is the brother of Anna and has become like a brother to Gordon. You wouldn't know it, but James and Gordon have known each other for over 20 years! They played on the same soccer team in second grade, against each other in Little League, and eventually on the same high school football team. James and Gordon enjoy going on Tahoe trips together and visiting new golf courses with the Pendleton Team. One of their fondest memories is casually having a conversation with Van Jefferson in an elevator the night before the 49ers beat him and his Rams.
