Please let us know your plans by August 5th.
We recently moved from Detroit to sunny Glendale, California!
Yep! But there was never any actual gambling. Check out the 110 year old building's history here: http://www.historicdetroit.org/building/belle-isle-casino/
Belle Isle does require vehicles to buy a Recreation Passport. Passes can be purchased on the island at the entry booth or at the White House Administration Building. Michigan residents pay $11 for an annual pass and non-Michigan residents can purchase a day pass for $9. https://www.belleisleconservancy.org/belle-isle-frequently-asked-questions
First off THANK YOU. Secondly, it would be a tremendous help to have your gift shipped directly to our California residence.
We're registered at Target and Crate & Barrel which can be found under the 'registry' tab. We also have an online honeymoon and furniture fund if you'd like to contribute. tgt.gifts/gordon&allison https://www.crateandbarrel.com/gift-registry/allison-young-and-gordon-smith/r5852249
Renting a car while you're in town is probably your best option. Downtown Detroit has the QLine and the People Mover but they both serve limited areas.
There is plenty of parking directly in front of the Belle Isle Casino. If you are staying at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites, valet parking is provided by the hotel at a $30 a day rate.
The ceremony will start promptly at 4:00 so we recommend arriving by 3:45.
