It all began with a Facebook post from a friend. They shared a few good photos of Gordon and described him as an absolute catch. Kayla was interested. There was something about Gordon that stood out, so she dropped a comment, not expecting much to come of it. Gordon’s friend shared a photo of Kayla with Gordon. He found her incredibly beautiful and had to get to know her. Soon, Kayla had his number. But sending that first message took a bit of courage. She stared at the screen for a while, then told herself, “What’s the worst that could happen?” and finally hit send with a simple “hello.” Messages turned into conversations, and Gordon found himself anticipating meeting this wonderful person he was learning so much about. Before long, they made plans to meet halfway between Price and Salt Lake for coffee at Starbucks. Kayla was so nervous, she paced outside her car for nearly five full minutes before she received a text letting her know that he was already inside. And so, she walked in. That weekend, one date turned into three. They couldn’t get enough of each other. From that moment on, they were inseparable. It was the beginning of everything.
