Noah and Lucy’s story began when Lucy’s dad began pastoring at a new church in January of 2021. Their first Sunday there Lucy observed a cute guy on worship team playing guitar and pondered with her sister how long it would take their mom to set Lucy up with him. A couple months later at a young adult’s hangout at the Skoog’s house, Noah and Lucy finally met. After serving as youth leaders and hanging out at various events, there was interest on both sides and a month later they were dating! Lucy had to go to school in Arizona which meant doing long distance. Noah stayed in Washington while continuing his job. Over the next two years, they made the most of breaks and summer vacations while continuing to fall in love with each other. They had been talking about marriage for quite some time and knew they wanted to spend the rest of their lives together. Over spring break, a month before Lucy graduated, Noah and Lucy decided to get some pictures taken by a photographer friend for fun. While taking these photos, Noah proposed!! It was the most perfect day! With long distance done forever, Noah and Lucy are so excited to start this new chapter of life together and are expectant for amazing things. God has been so good to us and we cannot wait to celebrate with you!!
