Our story began back in September 2012 when we attended a birthday party. We were both invited because Steph's best friend was dating Patrick's cousin at that time and shared a mutual friend. Patrick's brother randomly called him one night asking if he wanted to check out this birthday while Steph on the other hand was there because it was her birthday too. Timing was not on our side back then because at that time we each had other people in our lives. Little did we know that a few simple interactions will lead to this special day. We both said hi to each other, made small talks, and went on to live our separate lives until about 2 years later when our paths crossed again, but this time it lead into something great. We'd occasionally run into each other multiple times randomly so one night we decided to go out on a date to get to know each other a little better. On our first date we went to watch a UCLA Football game at a sports bar and drank a couple of drinks. Even though UCLA lost, we felt like a winner since we both hit it off to go on a second, third, and many more dates after that. And the rest, they say, is history.
