Erin and I trace our friendship back to Notre Dame freshman orientation when she sauntered over to join my breakout group instead of her own. The rest is history: we were fast friends and sophomore year roommates, and have done it all together: run in sub-frozen temperatures, encouraged each other in faith, jumped into lakes, laughed, cried, road-tripped up CA's coast, flossed, danced, kayaked, designated each other as pen pals, and eaten more berries than most girls do in a lifetime.

Bill is Joe's eldest brother and has been proffering sage and sometimes less sage advice since Joe was a lad. Together they have had many an adventure, whether traveling to France and asking life's harder questions or vibing to Radiohead late into the evening, pondering the meanings, & again asking some of life's harder questions. Erin and Emily met doing what they do best: dancing! Their friendship deepened over avocado ice cream in the Boston heat. They grew close especially through choreographing and performing dance pieces together all over Notre Dame’s campus and at the Linebacker Inn. Whether dancing, praying, sharing a meal, or pondering life’s great questions together, E & E know how to inspire a good time in one another and in anyone who meets them on the dance floor!

Charlie is Joe's older brother and though he was not selected as the best man for the wedding he understands that he fills more of the zen master role in Joe's life. Keeping watch over Joe from afar, lurking in the shadows and bushes of his life, he occasionally presents himself to offer Joe cryptic zen wisdom: "Where can enlightenment be found? A dog is sleeping in the sun." "How shall one become the buddha? A bowl of porridge in the morning." "How can one maintain peace? See, this is a goldfish."

Erin and Gina first met while attending college, but their friendship really blossomed when Erin moved out to California. Though their time as roommates was brief, they continue to adventure together embracing new opportunities for fun. Some days it’s yoga in the park, other days it’s grocery shopping and dinner, but it’s always a good time!

My dearest brother Joe, Has been a great source of grace in my life. He has a sincere dedication and love for his family. A virtue which Joe has mastered. A virtue which cannot be taken lightly for it reflects the parents that raised him and caliber of those godly people. It reflects the quality of siblings that Joe found himself surrounded by, growing up in the Halls of Pasadon. The investigation continues onward and deeper. We must look into the friends that Joe associated with and how those folk cooperated with God's grace to mold the infamous Jose Jimenez over the years. I have found that Joe is a Man's man. A man of God. I hope that I can also be a workman of Saint Joseph just like my little brother one day. The man who helps create Star Wars! Rose Goodwin, likes to go by Rosie, and is Joe’s littlest sister. They bonded over their mutual love of Lord of the Rings lore and goofing around. Joe notably made Rose her 8th grade Saint costume, taking her to goodwill in Alhambra and fashioning a real Catherine of Siena head covering.
Andrew Halpin

Andrew spent much of his childhood with all the Goodwin boys, whether they were making movies together, magnificent lego metropolises, or reenacting the grandest "Star Wars" battles. Most recently Andrew and Joe lived together in the infamous Pepper St. Apartment until Andrew's nuptials, where the mysteries of the universe were uncovered, movies were quoted, and many snacks were consumed. A mighty friendship grew in those hallowed, carpeted, halls that persists to this day. Far too few friendships flourish as freely as these fine philios, and though marriage shall come first, there will always be a place for apartment power in their hearts.

Sophie and Erin met in September 2021, after Sophie was serendipitously invited to a trivia night attended by a handful of Flintridge Prep teachers. [Like most relationships in Erin’s life,] their friendship got off to a fast and furious start from the moment Erin put Sophie’s contact information in her phone as “Sophie Super-Cool.” Over the past year, their bond has been forged through boisterous singing of musical theater numbers at the beach, enthusiastic nights of dancing, hikes or walks with Sasha, and long chats about friends, faith, science, philosophy, and everything in between. Sophie is so thrilled to stand by Erin’s side as she and Joe tie the knot!
