The fan is a fun area to walk around and take in the small parks and row homes. You'll also find more tasty food ranging from pizza at The Hop, burgers at Beauvine, to sandwiches at Garnett's - there's something for everyone.
Carytown is your place if you're in search of local shops and eats. Everything walkable here, which makes it the perfect spot to spend an afternoon. A couple of our favorite restaurants here are Greek on Cary (terrific greek food, with a gyro that is out of this world) and Coppolas Deli (phenomenal sandwiches, the barnyard is a personal favorite).
Our wedding venue is connected to Maymont Park, one of the most beautiful places for a mid-afternoon stroll!
Scotts Addition is filled with tons of fun breweries and tasty foods. We recommend Star Hill for a rooftop vibe, Stella's Grocery for a quick bite, and Slingshot/Rivercity Roll if you're looking for games.
This beautiful park in Church Hill is a great spot to sit back and enjoy a view of the city. Bonus points for being close to one of our favorite sandwich shops Union Market - grab a sandwich to go and enjoy in the park!
This one is for the outdoorsy peeps, there are great hikes and views of the river at Belle Isle. You'll also find the "T. Pott Bridge", a walking bridge that goes across the James River with phenomenal city views.
One of our favorite spots in Richmond with plenty of amazing art to explore inside, and a beautiful sculpture garden in the back. If you aren't a museum kinda person, it's worth it to grab a coffee nearby and take a walk.
