We’re getting married!

We first met on a Thursday night in early 2024 at a friend’s pickleball night at church. From our very first game, there was an undeniable spark. We were immediately drawn to each other, and after the game, our conversation flowed effortlessly. We discovered a shared dream of doing service in Africa (where Matthew served his mission), a love for country music and dancing, and newfound interests—horseback riding for Claudia and skiing for Matthew. By the end of the night, Matthew couldn’t resist asking for Claudia’s number, though he played it cool and waited a bit before reaching out. Over the next few weeks, we exchanged long, thoughtful texts, getting to know each other in a way that felt natural and exciting. Eventually, Matthew suggested saving Claudia a seat at church—perfect, since both of us tend to be fashionably late. Shortly after, he officially invited Claudia to go country dancing. That night, as we danced together, everything just clicked. It was fun, exciting, and felt like the start of something special. From that moment on, we never missed a chance to see each other. Our relationship has been a journey of learning, growing, and creating memories together. Claudia’s adventurous spirit brings spontaneity and energy into our lives, while Matthew’s steady, thoughtful nature creates a foundation of trust and calm. We balance each other in the best ways. We share a love for outdoor adventures, sports, playing games, watching shows, dancing, music, delicious food, and, most importantly, our faith. On December 15, 2024, Matthew proposed at Flight Park—a perfect spot overlooking the valley at sunset, where we could soak in the beauty of the moment and reflect on the incredible journey that brought us here. Every day feels like a blessing, knowing we’ve found someone who shares our dreams, values, and faith. Our love story is a reminder that God’s timing is always perfect. As we plan our future together, we’re filled with excitement for the adventures ahead and confidence that we’ll create a beautiful life together.
