What is the dress code for the wedding?

Answer

We're excited to go all out! The dress code is Black Tie. For men, we encourage tuxedos or dark formal suits. For ladies, we suggest floor length dresses, evening gowns, and optional fascinators if you would like to fully embrace the British tradition! A coat check will be available at the venue.

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

We will provide transportation to and from the venue, from the Notting Hill/Hyde Park area. Final details will be shared as they develop and will also be included in your formal invitation.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, we’ve decided to host an adults-only wedding, with the exception of family kids, to allow everyone to fully enjoy the celebration. We appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate with you! If you are in need of child care recommendations, please reach out to Abby (239-331-0870).

What will the weather be like in London?

Answer

We just might get surprised with a day of sunshine! But typically, late March in London is chilly and can be rainy. Pack a coat, layers, and a small umbrella just in case!

What is the best way to travel around London?

Answer

The Tube (Underground) is fast, safe, and easy—just tap in and out using Apple Pay or contactless cards. Uber and taxis are available but can be slower due to traffic, especially during peak times. Download the Tube Map app to simplify planning routes and travel time. This app works without service or wifi.

Is the wedding really on a Monday?

Answer

Yes! We chose a Monday to give our U.S. guests plenty of time to travel and adjust to the time difference before the festivities begin!

Is parking available at the venue?

Answer

For our British guests in closer proximity, there is ample parking available at the venue. Hedsor House is about 30 minutes by car from west London and just a few miles from the M4 (J7) and M40 (J2). Postcode SL6 0HX.
