Taxis will be the easiest form of transportation throughout Ireland. We recommend using a taxi service called FreeNow, a service similar to Uber. You would need to download the App to your phone and book the taxi on the App. We recommend using this to and from the airport. FreeNow - https://www.free-now.com/ie/
For sure! It may be a little intimidating driving on the other side of the road (plus they are narrow) but it's relatively inexpensive and easy!
- Passports - expiration date should not be within 6 months of travel - Adapters for charging phones specific for Ireland (Ireland/England adapters differ from general EU adapters) - Waterproof jacket (it will rain) - Comfortable walking shoes!
The national currency in Ireland is Euros. We recommend getting some Euros when you land in Dublin, but most places will accept Mastercard/Visas. Make sure to notify your bank that you will be traveling.
Cocktail attire. We ask that guests wear a suit with jacket and tie, dresses, or pantsuit.
