Our journey began eight years ago with a swipe on Tinder and a first date at the Lenox AMC in Columbus. We immediately hit it off, talking for hours about everything from our favorite music to our biggest dreams. Best of all, our conversations always ended in long, happy laughs. After three years of a long-distance relationship—Chelsea in Cincinnati and Alan in Columbus—we finally moved into a charming cottage in Clintonville, Ohio. We bonded even more during the pandemic and decided our home needed a furry friend. In February 2021, we brought home Winston, our playful Pembroke Corgi. He's a handful, but he brings so much joy to everyone he meets. A couple of years later, we got him a brother, Chowder, who is just as feisty but loves to sleep on our chests. After six amazing years together, Alan "finally" proposed to Chelsea on her 24th birthday, December 10, 2023, at the Franklin Park Botanical Garden. While celebrating our engagement, we were also preparing for a huge change: a move to Southern California. For two years, we—and the corgis—lived our dream on the West Coast, enjoying weekends at the beach, authentic Mexican tacos, and beautiful mountain views. We will forever cherish our time there. Now that we've moved back to the Midwest, we are excited to be close to family and friends again. We can't wait to walk down the aisle and celebrate our special day with the people we love and appreciate most.
