What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

In the New Church, it is customary for there to be "Special Music" for about 30 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony. Please feel free to arrive any time between 4:00 and 4:30. Please enter the church sanctuary quietly.

Are kids welcome?

Yes! We both enjoy children, and are happy to have your whole family celebrate with us!

Can we take photos?

Answer

Please refrain from taking photos during the ceremony at the Bryn Athyn Cathedral. You are welcome to take photos following the ceremony on the Cathedral Lawn, and at the reception at Heilman Hall.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! Both Bryn Athyn Cathedral and Heilman Hall have ample parking. Please reserve the closest lot at the Bryn Athyn Cathedral for the wedding party and elderly attendees.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We request that guests wear formal or semi-formal attire. Men could wear suits, dress pants, button down shirt, vest, sport coat, etc. Women could wear dresses, skirts, dress pants, or fancy blouses. It will be hot! So, please dress accordingly.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

We will have food that meets varying dietary needs including gluten free, dairy free, vegetarian, etc.
