What better way to meet someone new in the middle of a global pandemic than Tinder!? Yes, we met via Tinder (lol). Randy started our conversation off with a quick speculation that Fall Out Boy sang Beat It better than Michael Jackson (he's not wrong). We spent the next few days talking endlessy, specifically about music and our mutual love of coffee. Our first date was about a week later, we went Christmas shopping at Target(pandemic = no sit down restaurants). We ended our shopping spree with Culvers fish sandwiches and peanut butter custard, and the rest is history! :)

We traveled to Chicago for Emily's 30th birthday, along with Emily's friend Megan. We spent the last few hours of our trip stuffing our faces with Chicago pizza (Ah-Mazing!) and taking a ferry tour around Lake Michigan. Once back on land, Randy requested we take pictures in front of the Navy Pier ferris wheel. Once at the top of the pier, we pose for some pictures, and suddenly Randy was down on one knee, ring in hand. Emily said yes(!), we burst into laughter, some random people clapped, and Megan preserved the moment snapping away on the camera. :)
