We’re getting married!

We met as classmates in the high school choir, he was bass and I was Soprano. We harmonized the instant we locked eyes. It took us a long while to tell each other how we felt but after that, it was smooth sailing. We instantly became best friends, sharing every moment we could and singing our hearts out til we could no more.

On my birthday, we gathered at my parents house and invited over his parents to celebrate as well. After a while of small talk, his parents brought up the idea of marriage and requested permission for Eddie to take my hand in marriage. My parents warned him I loved to nap and was sometimes lazy saying "Just know this is what you're getting, no take backsies!" That's when he got on one knee and popped the question. I was star struck. Very emotionally I said "YES!", and we were engaged. See y'all soon!
