It’s about time!

Anyone coming to this wedding has been long awaiting this moment. As you all know, Michael and I met in school. Fate had us in the same area at the same time, as neither of us are from this area. Granted we’ve both been here for majority of our lives; I’m from New York and he is from Kentucky. Our official relationship started right before high-school, our 8th grade year of middle school. From there it was bliss, until our Sophomore year of high school. At this point, Michael and his family had moved to Alaska. It was more than difficult at times, but we managed long distance up until the very moment they moved back to TN. We have experienced so much since he has been back, and even have a home to call our own now. Michael had made it pretty clear that we wouldn’t have it to get engaged this year, although we’d been talking about it for so long. As sweet as he is, he had a plan to make the proposal special and funny to us. However, he was too excited to wait any longer, he had the ring for a little over a week at this point, and popped the question on our 7 year anniversary. It genuinely caught me off guard, but I am the happiest I could be about it. It was probably the best way he could have done it. We are both so ecstatic to start on the next chapter of our lives. It’s hard to even think of it as a chapter, it’s like we’re starting an entire new book. Thank you all, truly. Most of you have watched us grow together. We both hope everyone can make it to celebrate this event with us.
