Michelle's version: I liked Dan for a long time. I just waited for him to come to me in the LORD's time. I felt a great excitement when I saw him from afar and I got super nervous if he walked close to me 😄 A lot of time passed and I got busy trying to please the LORD in whatever He wanted me to do. The wait was very long for me and torturous... I wanted my sweetie to come to me but Dan was in the clouds 😁 After a great breaking that my LORD Jesus Christ allowed me to go through, his waiting purified my heart and I understood that the LORD was preparing me. The time I waited for him is top secret 😁 but in his infinite faithfulness the LORD brought me out of this great trial with a refined heart. I want to share these dates that are very special for the 2 of us: °On February 4th, his birthday, Dan Jackson approached me for the first time, and after a while of conversation he invited me on our first date. °On November 5th, my birthday, Dan Rhue proposed to me 🥰🙏 It was all very romantic and the only thing left for me to do is to thank my Lord Jesus. 2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

Dan’s version: I had known Michelle was there for a long time. I was being very critical of everything I was doing as I had come out of a very difficult period of life. I was in a time where God was restoring me by reshaping my attitude, thoughts, and life altogether. I can now see that God was also preparing me in those moments into a position to be a good husband. And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter: so he made it again another vessel, as seemed good to the potter to make it. Jeremiah 18:4 I am much different now than I have been in years that have gone by. I am so truly thankful for everything I have gone through and have lead me into the place where I am at. Michelle is truly my other half and the time we have spent together has revealed this to me. I am so excited for us to begin our journey together through this life, to love and cherish one another, and begin this family of our own. I approached Michelle to ask her on a date on my birthday knowing that our relationship would grow into something truly meaningful, on that day she was the best gift I received. I also asked for her hand in marriage on her birthday so that I in turn made of myself as a gift to her. Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh. Genesis 2:24 And they twain shall be one flesh: so then they are no more twain, but one flesh. Mark 10:8 Everything happens in good time if you’re willing to be persistent in the tasks that lead into your goals. One narrative of the Bible is that of a promise that God prepares a path for us to follow towards a place He has prepared for us to be with Him. As a Christian man, I should model myself after who God is as a husband towards the church who is the bride of Jesus Christ. …I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. John‬ ‭14‬:‭3‬ ‭ I am thankful to God that in the time leading up to this marriage when my bride will leave her dwelling place, that I have been graced with a matter of time to prepare a home residence for her to occupy. Everything happens in good time if you are willing to make the right preparations for your dreams and visions. A man's heart deviseth his way: But the LORD directeth his steps. Proverbs‬ ‭16‬:‭9‬ Ponder the path of thy feet, and let all thy ways be established. Proverbs 4:26 Thank you for your presence on our special day when we become united as one. You have made a difference in both of our lives in some way through the years.

La espera fue muy larga para mí y torturante… quería que mi bomboncito se me acercara pero Dan estaba en las nubes 😁 Después de un gran quebrantamiento que mi SEÑOR Jesucristo permitió que yo atravesara, su espera purificó mi corazón y entendí que el SEÑOR estaba preparándome. El tiempo que esperé por él es top secret 😁 pero en su infinita fidelidad el SEÑOR me sacó de esta gran prueba con un corazón refinado. Quiero compartir estas fechas que son muy especiales para los 2: °El 4 de Febrero, el día de su cumpleaños, Dan Jackson se me acercó por primera vez, y después de un rato de conversación me invitó a nuestra primera cita. °El 5 de noviembre, el día de mi cumpleaños, Dan Rhue me propusó matrimonio 🥰🙏 Todo fue muy romántico y lo único que me queda es agradecerle a mi Señor Jesús. 2 Pedro 3:9: El Señor no retarda su promesa, según algunos la tienen por tardanza, sino que es paciente para con nosotros, no queriendo que ninguno perezca, sino que todos procedan al arrepentimiento.
