What are the COVID guidelines?

Answer

Pending good weather, both the ceremony and cocktail hour will be outside. An outdoor patio will be available throughout the entire event. Masks and hand sanitizer will be available at the event.

How do I get to and from the wedding?

Answer

Guests staying at the Omni Hotel will have a shuttle to and from Walker's Landing for the wedding ceremony and reception. Please see the FAQ question "Hotel Block - When is the wedding shuttle?" for further details. Wedding guests staying off site should enter the site from Beach Lagoon Road. Here you will approach a guard gate and the attendant can direct you to Walker's Landing (74 Marsh Creek Road). Uber/Lyfts are supposedly sparse on the island. If you are not taking the hotel shuttle, we recommend researching taxis services on the island. We expect all designated drivers to be responsible.

Hotel Block - When is the wedding shuttle?

Answer

The private shuttle to the wedding will be at 4pm from the front entrance of the Omni Hotel. Shuttles will be waiting for guests at the end of the wedding to take them back to the hotel. If you miss the shuttle or need one at a different time, please call a hotel shuttle (see FAQ "Hotel Block - How do I use the hotel shuttle?") .

Hotel Block - How do I use the hotel shuttle?

Answer

Omni Hotel guests can use the hotel tram any day to travel anywhere onsite, including Walker's Landing for the wedding. Guests can find the tram in the front drive of the hotel every 5-10 minutes. If there is not a tram present, you can ask the bellmen or valet to call the tram. From another location, you can call the Omni Ideal Services line (904-261-6161) to order the tram. We recommend saving this number ahead of time. The tram is available to all Omni guests, and is not exclusive to wedding guests.

Hotel Block - Where do I access the complimentary hotel parking?

Answer

Omni Hotel Wedding Block guests can self park in the Omni covered parking garage free of charge. Valet parking is NOT complimentary and the hotel will charge their standard rate.

Do I have to wait until the wedding to see you?

Answer

Nope! We plan to hang out at the Omni Hotel pool Saturday 4/10 from roughly 1-5 PM (weather dependent). Hotel guests are welcome to come by and join!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Cocktail Attire - such as cocktail dresses, LBDs, dressy jumpsuits, and jackets and slacks. You will need to walk through dirt, mulch, gravel, and a wood plank deck - so plan shoes accordingly!

Where can I get a drink after the wedding on site?

Answer

The Sea Glass Lounge, located in the main lobby of the Omni hotel, is open until 12:00am daily.

What entree did I order?

Answer

Doesn't matter - you're getting both! Through a contract mistake, everyone will receive both steak and fish. Dietary restrictions listed in the RSVP will be accounted for. Enjoy!

What happens if it rains during the wedding?

Answer

If the weather does not cooperate, we will hold the ceremony inside the reception venue at Walker's Landing.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We are so excited to celebrate this intimate occasion with our closest friends and family, and are keeping the guest list limited. Your wedding invitation will indicate the number in your party.

Are kids invited?

Answer

While we love your family, our wedding ceremony and reception is adults only. We hope to see your family during the weekend surrounding the wedding! If you would like to be put in touch with other families arranging babysitters for the night of the wedding, please let us know!
