How do we communicate with each other?

Answer

We have a WhatsApp group chat for that! We will be keeping everyone updated through the website and WhatsApp. The group chat is also for all of you to communicate (and so no one gets lost in the resort... you know who you are). How do we get to the hotel?

Answer

If you purchased the travel package through Carolina, we will have *free* shuttles taking everyone to the resort. Otherwise, you may book an official airport taxi in advance on Cancun Airport's site. This is highly recommended since (according to the website) it is common to be overcharged when taking an unofficial taxi. The hotel is about 45 minutes from Cancun Airport, so be sure to take one last pee break!!

How big of a group are we?

There will be 36 people including the wedding couple!

What is the dress code?

Answer

Think casual tropical wedding- Flowy, light materials, florals, tropical prints, shorts. Check the outfit inspo page! The ceremony is on the beach, so keep that in mind when choosing footwear. At the end of the day we want you to be comfy and to have fun with it! Just pls no white dresses (Adam) <3

Yes, there will be a photographer. They will be providing continuous coverage throughout the night.

Can we take photos?

Answer

Yes, we definitely encourage it! However, please remember that we have a photographer, so don't be afraid to put your phone away as well :)

Why the wedding hashtag?

Answer

It's there so that if you post on any social media, the photos will be gathered under that hashtag! You of course do not have to include it, but it's a fun way to share more candid photos with everyone. #TheOneWhereJewelsandJosephGetMarried

What type of food will be served?

Answer

There will be some small appetizers during the cocktail hour and a full Mexican buffet at the restaurant where we have our reception.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

As the dinner will be buffet style, we will be passing on the allergies that we are aware of to the chef.
