We're Getting Married!

Our Story began on July 14th, 2019. Ashley was new to the church and wanted to be more involved with the youth. One day, she noticed an invitation to watch Toy Story 4 at the movie theaters on the Connect Youth Instagram page and decided to go. When Ashley arrived at the theater, she saw one seat left: the far right corner in the second row. She purchased her ticket, got her Twizzlers, and headed to her seat. Toy Story 4 was not only a place of entertainment and laughter but also a place where two strangers would fall in love. She had seen a few familiar faces, one of them being Nathan, one of the youths in the church. When Ashley said hi to Nathan, John interrupted and said, "You two know each other?". Two years later, John gave Ashley a promise ring where he had promised her they would one day marry. Today, John and Ashley are ecstatic about this new chapter in their life and can't wait to see what else God has in store for them. Nuestra historia comenzó el 14 de julio de 2019. Ashley era nueva en la iglesia y quería involucrarse mas con los jóvenes. Un día, vio una invitación para ver Toy Story 4 en el cine en la página de Instagram de Connect Youth y decidió ir. Cuando Ashley llegó al cine, notó que quedaba un asiento: la esquina derecha de la segunda fila. Compró su boleto, tomó su caramelo y se dirigió a su asiento. Toy Story 4 no era sólo un lugar de entretenimiento y risas sino también un lugar donde dos desconocidos se enamorarían. Había visto algunas caras familiares, una de ellas era Nathan, uno de los jóvenes de la iglesia. Cuando Ashley saludó a Nathan, John interrumpió y dijo: "¿Ustedes dos se conocen?". Dos años después, John le dio a Ashley un anillo de promesa en el que le había prometido que algún día se casarían. Hoy, John y Ashley están extasiados por este nuevo capítulo en sus vidas y no pueden esperar a ver qué más tiene Dios reservado para ellos.
